Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of quordle.uk. They are written to be read. By using the site, you accept them.
Who provides this site
Quordle UK is operated by Jorge Michele. You can reach him at [email protected].
Using the site
The game, the solver, the word finder, the starting word tool and the guides are free. No account is needed. You may use them for personal, non-commercial play as much as you like.
You may not:
- copy, scrape or republish our word lists, our daily puzzles or large parts of our guides;
- present the game or tools as your own, or embed them in a way that removes credit to quordle.uk (the embed page explains what is allowed);
- use automated tools that pull data from the site fast enough to affect other players;
- try to interfere with the site, its hosting or anyone else’s use of it.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that the game will be free of bugs, or that a daily puzzle will always appear on time. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site, including game modes and tools, without notice.
Your game data
Your board state and statistics are saved in your browser, not on our servers. We cannot restore them. If you clear your browser data, switch devices or play in a private window, your streak and statistics are gone and we have no copy.
Accuracy of the tools and guides
The solver, word finder and starting word tool give results based on our word lists and the information you enter. They can be wrong. The strategy guides are opinion, and the reasoning behind them is on our methodology page. Nothing on this site guarantees that you will win a game.
Our content and other people’s
The game code, the tools, the written guides and the design of this site belong to us. The name Quordle and the original game concept do not. Quordle was created in 2022 and acquired by Merriam-Webster in 2023. Quordle UK is an independent implementation of the same rules and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Merriam-Webster or the original creators.
You may quote short passages from our guides with a link back. You may not reproduce a guide in full.
Links to other sites
We link to outside sources, including those on our Sources page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limits on our liability
This is a free word game. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including lost game data, lost streaks or relying on a tool result or a strategy recommendation. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
