What is 64 Wordle?
64 Wordle is the popular name for what the original creator calls Sexaginta-quattuordle (Latin for sixty-four), also nicknamed “sixty-fordle” and commonly written 64ordle. One five-letter guess is scored independently against sixty-four hidden answers at once, and you have seventy shared turns to solve them all.

Why 70 guesses, not 69?
Every other game in this family gives exactly five more guesses than boards, Dordle, Quordle, Octordle, Sedecordle and Duotrigordle all follow that pattern precisely. At 64 boards, that same rule would land on 69 guesses. The original creator has said outright that she avoided that specific number on purpose, since 69 tends to get read as a joke rather than a score. She tested 72 guesses and found the game too easy, and settled on 70 instead.

Four ideas specific to this scale
Go wide before you go deep
Your first guesses should expose letters across as many boards as possible. Don’t chase one board to an early solve while sixty-three others sit untouched.
Solve obvious boards fast
Every board you close is one less thing to track. Progress at this scale is as much about reducing what you have to remember as it is about vocabulary.
Don’t gamble on low-confidence guesses
If a board still has several plausible answers, an exploratory word that reveals new letters is usually worth more than guessing one uncertain candidate.
Watch your spare guesses ruthlessly
Once your spare count hits zero, every remaining guess has to be a real answer. Know that number before you’re forced to find out the hard way.

About this version
An independent implementation
The original Sexaginta-quattuordle was created by Catherine Cowie in 2022, building on the multi-board format pioneered by Dordle, Quordle, Octordle and Sedecordle’s creators. This page is quordle.uk’s own independent implementation of the 64-board format, written from scratch rather than reusing the original’s code, which is published under a non-commercial license. Today’s puzzle uses quordle.uk’s own daily schedule, kept separate from Quordle’s own daily words so playing one game never spoils the other.

Yes. Switch to Unlimited mode for a fresh random set any time, with no effect on your Daily streak.
