Definitions
What each stat actually means
Every finished round
A win or a loss both add one to this count. Closing the tab mid-round never counts it.
Wins over played
Wins divided by played, turned into a percent and rounded to the nearest whole number.
Your active run
Goes up by one after every win. A single loss resets it straight to zero, no partial credit.
Your best run ever
Updates the moment your current streak passes it. It never drops, even after your current streak resets.
A Quordle-specific distinction
Boards solved is not the same as games won
Solving most of a round is real progress. It just is not what your win rate measures.
Close, but this counts as a loss. Win rate only tracks whether you solved all four words in the same round.
This is a win. It is the only outcome that adds to your win count and can extend your streak.
The math
How win rate is calculated
Win rate is wins divided by played, turned into a percentage and rounded to the nearest whole number.
Worked example: 7 wins out of 9 played rounds works out to 77.78 percent, which rounds up to 78%.

How the streak actually works
quordle.uk has one mode on the homepage, so there is one streak. Here is exactly what moves it.
Win a round
Your current streak goes up by one, and your best streak updates instantly if you just beat it.
Lose a round
Your current streak drops straight back to zero. Your best streak stays exactly where it was.
Come back tomorrow, or next week
No effect at all. Nothing tracks the date, so taking a break never costs you your streak here.
Different from most daily word games: quordle.uk has no daily limit, so your streak is about consecutive wins, not consecutive days.

Top letter is the round’s result, bottom number is what your current streak becomes right after it.

Storage, in plain language
Where your stats actually live
Your browser is your save file. quordle.uk has no accounts, so nothing about your stats exists anywhere except your own browser’s storage.
A different browser, a different device, or a private window all start with an empty slate. Nothing was deleted, it simply is not there yet.
The game itself runs inside an embedded window on the page, but it saves to the same storage as the rest of quordle.uk. You do not need to do anything special for it to work.
Starting over on purpose
Can I reset my stats?
Yes. Open the stats panel from the game and look for Reset stats near the bottom.
You get one confirmation before anything happens, since this cannot be undone. Confirm, and Played, win rate, current streak, best streak, and your guess distribution all return to zero.
Good to know: resetting your stats does not touch a round you have in progress. Only the saved numbers are cleared.
Not yet built
Can I share my results?
Not yet. quordle.uk does not currently have a share or copy button after a round ends.
A screenshot is the easiest workaround for now if you want to show someone your board. It is a feature worth having, and it may come later.
No fixed answer
What’s a good Quordle score?
There is no universal cutoff for a good score, since every round pulls four random words instead of one fixed daily puzzle.
Your own numbers are the best benchmark. Watch whether your win rate holds steady, and whether your distribution shifts toward fewer guesses over time.

Quordle stats and streaks: quick answers
Does missing a day break my Quordle streak?
No. quordle.uk does not track dates at all, so your streak only cares about consecutive wins, not consecutive days.
Can my current streak be higher than my best streak?
No. The moment your current streak passes your best streak, best streak updates to match it right away.
Does an unfinished round count as played?
No. Played only counts rounds that actually ended in a win or a loss. Closing the tab mid-round does not count.
Will my stats show up on my phone if I played on my laptop?
No. quordle.uk has no accounts, so stats stay in the browser that created them and never move on their own.
Does incognito or private browsing save my streak?
Not reliably. Private windows are built to forget everything once closed, streak included.
Can I reset my stats without losing my current round?
Yes. Resetting stats only clears Played, win rate, streak, and distribution. Your in-progress round is untouched.
Why isn’t there a share button?
quordle.uk doesn’t have one yet. A screenshot works in the meantime.
What counts as a win in the guess distribution chart?
Only completed wins appear there, sorted by which guess finished the fourth board. Losses affect win rate but never show up in this chart.
